OMG Sunday, 10th February started by Melbourne gifting us with the perfect 25 degree summers day. It was semi overcast with a beautiful little breeze. The perfect backdrop for Mina and Rosemary’s wedding.
The morning started just like it was out of a Disney movie with an amazing dress by Zian Couture. I remember Rosemary saying “I’ve got the dream team today”, and she wasn’t wrong. Next thing I know I could hear the beating of the drums and it was time to head off to the Coptic Orthodox Church Eporo Tower on Latrobe St, Melbourne.
With Melbourne at our doorstep, locations where plentiful. We started at the Fitzroy Town Hall with the grand pillars and stairs. Which Mina and Rosemary always wanted. The sun was placed behind the town hall, which made perfect lighting conditions for photography. With the Triple R car hire parking at poll position to help set the perfect scene.
Time flys when your having fun. So we quickly made our way back into the city and headed to Collin St where 200 white balloons where waiting combine with the beauty of the ‘Paris’ end of Collins. The mood stepped up a notch with the bridal party popping champaign and stopping the street to clear traffic for our bride and groom.
Just when you think it was over, you head to the reception. Crown had lots of surprises hiding behind its doors. With panoramic rooftop views and Amica Event Hire creating the most spectacular room reveal. It set the scene for a big party ahead.
And did we party with Sally Cooper at the helm, her energy and performance was electric and as I looked around the River Room at Crown, there wasn’t one person who wasn’t dancing.
Congratulations to Mina and Rosemary and thank you for choosing Dezine By Mauro.
